Manege frei is an animated shortfilm produced in Flash using a mixture of limited and traditionally hand drawn animated sequences. The story deals with an encaged circus bear, who dreams of his liberation. His path to freedom is only prevented by a tiny circus tamer, but still unreachable. The short was screened on several festivals around the globe like Annecy, Ottawa and ITFS and won a couple of reputable awards like the Bitfilm Festival, Ottawa Animation Festival and Flashforward NYC.
